The project was financed via the ProFI national proteomics infrastructure. It will enable the development of new proteomic analysis methods for the identification and quantification of peptides and proteins. This mass spectrometer is characterized by its ultra-high resolution and versatility: it provides three different analyzers, as well as multiple fragmentation and activation modes that can be combined with each other (CID, ETD, HCD, PTCR). These specific features make it complementary to the instruments already available on the EDyP team&#8217;s technology platform. The instrument should enable high-throughput, high-sensitivity proteomics analyses (biomarker discovery, multiplex quantification of peptides and proteins) and structural proteomics analyses (characterization of post-translational modifications (PTMs), characterization of intact proteins).
